Kolkata witnessed an electrifying conclusion to Kwizdom 3.0, the biggest inter-school student quiz in Eastern India, as MP Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School emerged as the champions. The team walked away with a cash prize of ₹60,000, a shining winner’s trophy, certificates, and premium shoes for all team members by Ajanta Impakto.
The second place went to Birla High School (Moira Street), which won ₹30,000, while third place was claimed by Central Modern School with ₹15,000. Each semi-finalist team also received branded shoes along with attractive cash prizes, making the event not just a test of intellect but also a celebration of participation.
The Grand Finale was held at Kala Mandir and featured multiple thrilling stages – the Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finale. The competition saw participation from a record 103 schools across Kolkata, all shortlisted after intense written preliminary rounds held in their own classrooms for students of classes 9, 10, and 11. By directive of the participating schools, every student in these classes took part in the preliminary written test, ensuring inclusivity and a level playing field for all.
Kwizdom is more than just a competition – it’s a movement to inspire curiosity, knowledge, and patriotism among young Indians. The quiz content focused heavily on India’s milestones, history, geography, culture, and achievements, making knowledge about the country engaging and relevant. From Operation Sindoor to Axiom-4, and from the majestic Himalayas to the Bay of Bengal, participants were tested on topics that instill national pride while sharpening analytical skills.
